88 Honda Prelude Si needs Hondata ECU

Post by beepnoodle »

Ok, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on this situation. For those of you that don't know, the 88-91 Preludes use a funky distributor, it's nothing like the ones that the civics and tegs use. I want to get a hondata ecu working with my car, I know I have to convert to obd1, I know I have to weld a new flange on an obd1 LS distributor to fit, then I gotta rewire everything cause the distributor sensors are all different than the prelude. I'm wondering if anyone has any better way of accomplishing this, or is the way I said the only way it can be done, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

As a matter of fact, I think I'm gonna try to use a 88-91 civic or teg distributor instead, forget the obd1 stuff.
