Some very strange bugs on K20A2 like ign retard
Car: rsx s 2002
Engine: K20A2 (rbc intake, toda race exhaust mani, skunk2 cat back, skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk2 exhaust cam gear, retainers and springs, k-pro). The ecu is stock rsx s 2002 ecu + k-pro.
The atachment is my datalog and calibration.
The datalog (1-100 ignigtion 19.kdl) is: 0-100 kmh using first and second gear. As you can see i have IGN over 4700 rpm no more than 19 degrees with TPS 100% open. I have tried to reload the ECU, to clean and to upload a new calibration. Nothing happend... so i am loosing power.
The secon data log (1 idle.kdl) is: the car stays still, i have opened the throttle for only 1 percent and you can see that rpm is jumping all the time from 750 to 1100. Also, some times when you start very gently from idle, the engine stucks at 1200 rpm (like the car hits the wall) and after the car twitches for 5-6 times then the engine is starting to make power...
The car is 100% in good condition, all the electronics system are working well. The time chain is a new one with toda tensioner. This problem has arised for the second time. When it happend for the first time, i have removed the ecu from the power supply, cleared the security, and then uploaded the calibration once again. At this time this idea does not work.
So i need help... or any advise :)

Looking at the KAL in wordpad it seems to have the same issue mine had with the IAT Retard tables. My take on this is any KAL created before 1.2.3.0 that used degrees C as the temp unit would likely suffer this issue.
The fix is quite simple just edit the file in notepad (or wordpad) and remove the [IATRetardLow] and [IATRetardHigh] sections and save, then reopen in kmanager and save. This sets the figures back to default. Hondata reset all the supplied KALs when this issue was detected but there probably needs to be a quick range check on opening a file to catch the issues like this. The Temp Compensation also had an issue but one can fix this through kmanager.
good luck.

I will try this. The k-manager that was used for tuning is 1-2-2-4 (or something that old), but it's the only one car wich has this problem.
Nevertheless thanks for advise.
It's working. Thanks!
This was in the original kalibration:

no the ignition is runing a bit better but still somthing is wrong and i dont have the same power as it was before this bug.
So the original kali was made by 1-2-2-4. And now i am working with 1-2-3-3. Any other ideas?

Can please someone explain, why ignition is -10. Look from tht 13 till 20th seconds in datalog nashel.kdl. The specs and the calibration are the same as above.
Also, the second datalog is idle, TPS is 1%, what is happening? look at the rpm...
k-pro serial 2390

What idle spedd should be at 14% throttle and 87 kPa ? just aproximate?
Regarding mechanical problem, what kind of problem it may be? electric connections or sensors? improper camshaft or VTC installation? There are no leaks of vacuum or something... i have no idea. I have spent today for almost 3 hours on the dyno, everything was working fine, but a loss of torque, and these bugs. Maybe any suggestions based on your experience?
