K-Pro o2 Oxygen Sensor options

Post by rufus »

I've researched as much as I could on options for o2 sensors. I've read anywhere from "02-04 RSX ONLY" to "match the o2 to the ECU" to "all 02-04 use the same o2" to "the 05 si works". Some of that even came from Hondata admin.

I'm currently running K-Pro on a 2003 Civic D17a2. The ECU is a 2002 CRV 5 speed. The part numbers from the CRV and 05 Civic Si are all different, as well as the Acura one as well. I could obviously go pick up the well known 02-04 RSX primary but I'd really like to clear this up for other d17 people that might end up using the same ECU as I am. Here are the options:

02-04 RSX

02-04 CRV

05 SI

Are all of these viable options? The cost is really the same across the board but this might help when one sensor isn't immediately available.

Ah just saw this too:

The Civic HX and all 2004-2005 Civics use a wideband 02 sensor compatible with the K-Pro
