ecu idle issue

what can cause the ecu to increase the engines rpms from say 1000 to 1500 at idle all the time i check for a vacum leak ????

could be a number of things.. but here is a short list of stuff to check first:

vacuum leaks are a big one
voltage on your TPS .5 volts close 4.5 volts at WOT
is your IAC valve good?
if so, unplug the iac and use the idle bypass screw to bring the engine down to almost stallling speeds then plug the iac back in.
bleed the coolant system so there is no air in it

try those and if you still have problems repost

i check my tps its all good

my iac is all good

and no air in cooling system

could not find any vacum leaks

what next??

its been awhile but i still have the 1000-1500 rpm flux but its intermitant
only once the the car is warm

any ideas

check your fast idle valve.
