Any plans for KManager to support filters for datalogging?

Post by kommon_sense »

Are there any plans to allow KManager to support filters for datalogging? For example, I would like to set kpro to open loop and just drive around and do things like :

- Only record a/f and datalog when in 3rd gear
- Only record a/f and datalog when on high cam
- etc.

Also when you load a datalog and look at the a/f values recorded, how are those calculated? Were those values stored directly in the datalog, or does kmanager calculate them based on the information in the datalog? It would be very helpful if they were calculated based on the datalog.

Also, if there are no plans to support filters, can the format of the datalogs be published so that I can write my own program to filter based on my parameters? If I could do this, and kmanager calculated the a/f based on data in the datalog, that would work just as well for me.

Thanks

This is very interesting thing that I would like to have in KManager too.

Especialy when you doing large datalogs it is a pain to navigate inside of them when they are 40+ mins long.

I'm doing it now by using export to CSV and getting info in excel, but build in function would be great!

That's a great idea! Would be extremely useful.
