is it possible to connect O2 wideband to PRA ECU ??????

Post by brunoctr »

that's the question.

I have a european civic type-r, and is it possible in order to do a better air/fuel dataloging? what would be best? an aftermarket O2 sensor or the RSX one?

otherwise i can only tune air/fuel with an external 02 sensor and that's not as precise as with one 02 wideband sensor directly attached to the ECU

or is the only solution to buy a RSX PRB ECU + RSX O2 sensor and do the wiring mod ???????

i've tried connecting innovate LM1 to my PRA ECU, but had some issues that it was not reading correctly.
so i tried AEM eugo gauge it worked not bad, but still if you get the offset right at idle, while going rich or lean, it goes off by .2~.3, and i can't get it read under 12afr which is equel to almost 1volt. but i don't need that much AFR for my N/A CTR.
but it will get you there, and can get your car tuned..

another thing, PRA is not like the PRB ecu which tells you how much to add or remove fuel from the table...
if you can get PRB, then get it as it wont get you headache.
