AIM manufacture digital dashboards and datalogging products.
http://www.aim-sportline.com/en/default.asp

I've used their MXL dash on a couple of cars with MBE ECUs, awesome features at a great price and very customisable. The configuration/logging software is excellent.

One of the killer features is the ability for it to accept a CAN or Serial data stream from a large number of ECUs (most standalones have some way of doing this) and have that data displayed on the screen or acted upon (alarms etc) as if it was being logged directly by the dash.

Only problem with doing this on S300/OBD-1 is getting the data out of the ECU, the serial port is already used by the S300 daughterboard. There are other ways but that is for hondata to answer.

However, it would be nice to see this on the S300 especially as the AIM products are at a price a large number of S300 users would find attractive.

I was just checking out AIM's website the other day.

I would love for this to be compatible with S300.

I hate have a million gauges on display in my car, one of these would fit nicely where the cluster is, and i could read everything i needed to know right from it!

Kpro gets all the good stuff

You need to make a USB (S300 side) to serial (MXL) interface using a USB host controller like the VNC1L-1A

Interesting...
So, if the S300 send all time in "broadcast" all datas by the USB, it should to do this.
But MXL will need to know the protocol for getting the data ?

this kit should be ok : http://www.vinculum.com/prd_vdip1.html

As hondata do not give a reponse to this question, Nicolas, I can supply you the listing of the routine RS232 of S300.

Lol ! I already try to see that but I don't have a lot of time to spend on that...

But I think if I send 0x90 command, I should receive about 50 interesting data...
