Closed loop help please

Post by DOHCAccord »

Ok, my tune is setup from racline fine tuning in cincinnati ohio. ive been driving and beating the car for months, even took it 1400 miles round trip to the beach. Car runs great. Im looking over the tune and pull up the closed loop box and find that my tune doesnt have the closed loop box checked, its blank and the l and s trim box area is grayed out. I thought a. its only like that during tuning
b. should have closed loop checked with the ecu adjusting as needed with s and l trim

i pulled up every other tune to find them all with the closed loop box checked except for the D16a engine.

so, here it is, do i reset up the closed loop box on my ecu, do i leave it and not care about it, what. please help. thanks

on most setups, especially street cars, you should have closed loop enabled. your tuner just probably forgot to put it back on closed loop. you have a o2 sensor right or are using the narrowband output of your wideband sensor? if so put it in closed loop.

maximum map for closed loop 8.9 inches
and target voltage 0.51 volts

closed loop will just keep your car at a ~14.7:1 AFR while idling and cruising wiht light engine loads.

my strim and ltrim are 0%

the o2 heater is fine... you can enable it if you have a 4 wire o2 sensor
