Map sensor reading not matching fuel/timing table columns
i have my boost control set to 18psi, but when i datalog at 18psi i'm still in the 12psi boost column. why?

I just opened the calibration and the datalog, and I scrolled the datalog to the 45 second marker (18 psi on the graph) and it is highlighting the cells just fine.. Do you have the "Show 3 bar tables" option checked under Options at the top?
What version of Smanager are you using?
Oh, and it's obvious that you probably arent viewing the 3 bar tables, as you have less fuel in the 16 psi columns than you do in the 12 psi columns..

i had it open for 5 bar tables. thats really weird. i edited the tables so that they go 16, 17.5, 19, 22, 25.
also i'm using smanager 1.3.1.0
i don't have my laptop here at the moment, but i don't remember having less fuel at 16psi than 12. if that were the case wouldn't i be running lean at 16psi? from what i could tell, if anything i'm running a little too rich most of the time.

well i tried 3 other maps, one of them a new p28 map and in every one at 16-17 psi it was highlighting columns number 16 and 17. in the new p28 map, columns 16 and 17 were 28-30psi and on the other maps it was 12-13psi. it seems like the datalog is filling in the values based on column number rather than manifold pressure.
datalogging appears to work fine to me. the problem i am seeing is that what is highlighted in the tables does not match what the sensors are reading. like when i'm not recording and just have datalogging turned on, even though i'm seeing 17psi the recorded lambda in the tables never leaves the 12psi column. would screenshots of what i'm seeing help?
Your map sensor is not calibrated properly. I have this problem with my 3 bar map sensor. I just gave up. Readings were close enough.jew wrote:datalogging appears to work fine to me. the problem i am seeing is that what is highlighted in the tables does not match what the sensors are reading. like when i'm not recording and just have datalogging turned on, even though i'm seeing 17psi the recorded lambda in the tables never leaves the 12psi column. would screenshots of what i'm seeing help?
