CEL constantly on

I just got my s300 in my 92 hatch with a b16a, I hooked it up and I loaded the stock jdm p30 and then I went for a test drive. Then the check engine light came on and has been on ever since... I tryed to clear the DTCs and it will go off when I do and then come right back on. The water temp. also runs a little higher sitting still at idle than it used to. Sorry if this has been covered before...

lol nvm. I'm a dumbass and I was tired last night. I woke up this morning and forgot that it wasn't on datalog and thats why it wasn't showing the cel in smanager. It was my knock sensor so I disabled it and it went off, but, why would my knock sensor light be on when it hasn't been on before I installed the s300? anyone know?

because you didn't disable it leaving the program to look for it. if the ecu doesn't have the hardware, or the sensor is bad or not connected=cel.
