i have a b18c out of a gsr and recently changed my alternator out, before i got the chance to put the new one in i had to relocate my car about 5 mins down the road, after i got the new alternator in, and i drive my car it seems real sluggish kinda like when i engine starts to get hot, i checked my engine temp gauge and it reads fine, i have read that if you drive your car without the alternator it sends a voltage spike to your PCM and will blow it, could this be the reason the engine feels slugish and how can i check my PCM to see if its blown? any help would be greatly appreciated
