Well i talked to my hondata dealer , i told him i wanted something that i could tune myself, so i asked him if i got the s300 would i be ok he said yes but he told me he could do the same with the s200 as the s300. So i purchased the s200 with boost for $550 out the door, so i gave him my ecu, and since i didn't have upgraded injectors at the time, he set it up for stock injectors, well i finally got around to getting new injectors, now my hondata dealer just up and moved, i'm stuck on stock injectors running 8psi on 10:6 pistons, great yeah tell me about it, so what do i do now?How can i switch it to different injectors? how do i tune this s200 myself, i was told from my dealer that i can do all this myself, and he set me up with this setup, cause he said it would be my best bet. There are no other Hondata tuners within 200 miles, what do i do? I have already spent more then i wanted on this setup, and $550 is like a 3 year savings for me so i gotta do something with this.
Any help would be great.
S200 Help?
To be able to tune yourself, you will need to purchase Romeditor, a EEPRM programmer and an Emulator. The cost of these is more than the upgrade price of $445 for the s300. You should have purchased the s300 originally as it does not need any aditional hardware and the software is included all for $595. Your only other options are to sell the s200 you have and then buy the s300, or you can find a different tuner to retune the system you have.

axis no point getting your hump up with spunkster he is most helpful and has told you the truth, you would have to buy the additional hardware to tune your s200 and that is a fact. you can do it yourself but you need more hardware what spunkster is saying is that you could upgrade cheaper and have a system that you would only need a usb cable to do. my advice would be to upgrade to an s300 as you clearly have idea how the system works and it is more entailed that most think. having a go at spunkster is out of order he is only here to help he is not biased or wrong so calm down and listen he is only here to help people and having a go doesnt help any situation. you can purchase the hardware to tune your s200 your self but at the extra expense and hassle you would be better upgrading to an s300
I'm not trying to sound like a dick, i'm just one of those guys when someone sells me something i better get what i'm paying for, but i understand how the system works , people get screwed over, well anyway could someone just post a link to where i can purchase all the stuff for the s200 i need to burn my own chips and such. all i need is a link
You can buy it through any hondata dealer. You will have to purchase the software for $195, the programmer for $85 and an emulator for $175 for a total of $455 and you will have a mess like this: (and this does not even show the programmer you will need)

You will be much better off paying the $445 for the upgrade to s300 and get more options, ease of use and better reliability. It will be as simple as this:
