ac switch

Do you have to wire up the ac switch to the ecu in some way to run one of the features, i.e. secondary maps, or is it already programed to do so. I tried activating the secondary's with the switch but it did not show the switch as active, is it because i do not have any of the actual ac equipment hooked up, as in, it needs to be plugged into the compressor to complete the circuit?

The AC switch has nothing to do with the AC input. If you want to use the AC switch you will have to custom wire the switch to the inpu on the ecu.

damn, does anyone have a write up on how to do that, that would be awesome, for a 2000 civic
