Today I noticed hesitation under initial throttle input in low rpms of 6th gear. The hesitation was so slight that I honestly thought I was just being paranoid. This was until I had this happen for atleast 3 seconds upon dropping into 4th gear. The problem happened only a couple more times and was completely random. I came home and did some dataloging, while I noticed a slight problem, I was unable to catch anything noticeable on the datalog. What I did notice was a couple of knocks that were encountered during the logging. I am no expert on tuning, but do know generally what a knock means, but don't know how to determine what is causing a knock and if it is a problem that I shoudl be concerned with. Intially I thought it was the manner in which I had been driving the car on/off throttle trying to duplicate the problem that I had earlier experianced. The off/on thottle had caused a knock, but then I noticed some earlier datalogs with knocks. I really don't know what could be causing the hesitation that I had experianced on the highway, what is causing the knocks, or if the two are related, let alone how to fix either problem. I have inluded a couple of datalogs for the experts to look at.
