knock count?

I have a k24 swap and for some reason past 4000 rpms it detects around 4-7 knock counts.. when i get to 6000 it says like 200+ knocks..

here is what my K24 consists of.

k24a4 block
87.5mm 12.5:1 wiseco pistons
Import Builder I beam K24 rods
ACL Bearings

Hytech Spec III Intake Cam
Hytech Spec II Exhaust Cam
Supertech Valve Springs and retainers
Supertech STD Black Nitrate Coated Valves

Churches tried to Tune my car but could not because of old gas. they did tune AFR at part throttle.

Could it be that it had bad gas sitting in the gas tank for 8months? I now have 110 Octane in it. Or could it be a noisey valvetrain. Hytech said that might be the problem its picking up valvetrain noise and thinks its knock.

I can uplaod my datalogging when I get home along with my map.

It is impossible to say what it is. You will have to try some things. Try reducing timing in the areas that have knock. If it goes away, it was detonation, if not, it is caused by the parts in your engine and you'll just have to live with the noise it's making.
