Please forgive the newbie question. I preformed several searches but I believe this is a little over my head.
I'm considering a Hondata s300 ecu for a B18C1 build. I'd like to output some engine parameters to an in-dash LCD screen. I see that HondaLogger does this, but does not allow for alternate skins. The output software program I'd like to run is DashCommand, but it requires an OBD2 interface. "DashCommand Supports all OBD-II protocols: SAE-J1850 (PWM and VPW), ISO-9141, ISO-14230 (KWP2000), and ISO-15765 (CAN)."
Obviously the s300 produces datalogging output. I see in the accessories page that OBD2 adapters are sold. If I get an s300 with built in OBD2 adapter will I be able to output OBD2 data to DashCommand or other OBD2 diagnostic programs? Or is the standard s300 USB data sent in OBD2 format which I can just send to the DashCommand prrgram?
Thanks for the help.
