I did another data log. but I forgot to save it. I did observe the plx box reading 10.6-10.8 and the hondata log was firm at 11.86

Here is the data log with D10 disconnected. ELD reads 4.53v-4.55v

the next is a data log from a 3rd gear dyno pull, 2 points the air fuel on the data log read 11.82, around 5100 rpm and 6100 rpm. at the same 2 points the plx and dyno both read 10.xx, the data log will not record below 11.82?

your help please.

p.s. I'm still learning, but your product is awesome!

thank you.

You are obviously getting some errant voltage from smewhere that is not allowing the ecu to read it's full range of values. This has been tested on the bench here and in vehicles and will read properly from 10-20.

You will have to use a multimeter to try and find where you are getting the extra voltage.

I don't know where to start. can you tell me what will it have to test with the multimeter to find the extra voltage?

thanks.

When the reading stalls out, what is the voltage on the ELD reading. More than likely it will be reading about .9 volts plus or minus whatever you have the voltage offset set to. You will be looking for this .9 volts with the Wideband output wire from the PLX disconnected, or look to see of the extra voltage is coming from the PLX.

Alright, I figured it out.

To rule out the S300, I changed out my ecu with another S300. the problem persisted, that ruled out any problems with the S300. Next I contacted PLX. Their tech person gave me a list of tests to perform on the PLX, one of which included taking the PLX apart and another was sending photos to them of the insides. All tests performed on the PLX showed the PLX to be in perfect working order. That prompted PLX to issue an RMA# for return. Not wanting to wait for my M300 to return, I grabbed a new R300, hooked it up and just like that the Hondata log followed the PLX display perfectly past 11.82 deep into the 10's. The problem all along was a faulty PLX M300.

Thank you Hondata for all your help!
