I install the P28 with s300 and uploaded 2001 itr base map onto my 98 spec jdm itr engine running on gsr harness and it's throwing a check engine light. when i data log, the error box said knock sensor and when i try to delete the dts it will disappear but it comes right back. i went to misc. tab and disable the knock sensor there but when i try to start my car it would not start. any help will be greatly appreciated.
even though the check engine light comes on i ran my car down the street and i freakin love the v-tec because it feels like your boosting and kind of like an automatic transmission down shift when you pedal to the metal lol. it's better then my PCT ecu spoon chip, i just need to get it check out about the check engine light before i damage my engine even more and then get it dyno tune.
