K-Pro For K20Z2 JDM engine

Post by Jmad »

Would the K-Pro be applicable for a K20Z2 engine I have on my civic. I intend to drop in a supercharger and will need a programmable ECU. Will either use a Jackson or a Vortech.

Any info or insight on this matter would be helpful!

The engine doesn't matter - they are all the same ECU-wise. What matters is the type of transmission signal and the vehicle wiring harness type.

That is comforting to know. Though I am new to the K20 and the fly by wire system. How do I go about the data that tells me about the transmission signal and the vehicle wiring harness type.

More info please!

Thanks for replying on my post!

The engine is on a 2006 Civic FD20 sedan with jdm specs straight from the factory. Would have been nice if they had chosen the Z3 or the A series, but I have to work with what I have got.

It's a fairly new car. Doesn't even have more than 1000 kilometers on it, so I am planning ahead to add a bit more power, as I mentioned a supercharger.

I also have a 2000 Civic with a factory B16. We bolted on a Turbonetics T3/T4 on it and pushing 236Whp, but it causes so much strain on the engine, so now I am just opting for the supercharger. I have an option of either the two manufacturers, will need a management system to complement it.

Any ideas or information from you folks would be so welcome!

No, the K-Pro cannot be used in this vehicle. I'm sorry, but we do not offer anything at this time for that engine and vehicle combo.
