PROBLEM WITH AEM 3.5bar map sensor HELP HELP

Post by thudreem »

I had a GM 3 bar in the car and I'm boosting 26 lbs. I want to boost higher so I installed a AEM 3.5 bar map sensor last night.
I started with a new map (USDM P72 rom) and I also changed my old 3 bar map to a AEM 3.5bar in the MAP section and these 2 maps did not help my situation!!

The problem I'm having is when I change the values in the fuel tables there is no change to the A/F in the car.. I did not drive the car because it was very lean at idle. I would add 10%, then 25%, even 50% to the idle portion of the map and the entire map. NO CHANGE IN A/F ratio.

I have 1000cc AEM 3.5 bar LS VTEC Turbo.. The car just made 592whp at 26 lbs on a GM 3 bar. All that was changed was the map sensor. I actually have tried (2) brand new AEM 3.5bar sensors last night!! Is there a problem with the S300 and this sensor?

Any thoughts guys???

Yes I did, I tried to change the part of the map where it was idling and the entire map..
I even created a brand new base map and no change in A/F with that new map either.
I tried realtime update and UPLOAD and no effect in the A/f ratio. If I add 25% to the overal fuel trim my A/F ratio drops to 12.1 A/F then if I go to the map and select the cells where its idling and add 10% and no change in A/F..

OK, I feel like an idiot. I had the secondary tables checked off. I must have clicked on it by accident and I never thought to check that. I hope we all can learn from my stupid mistake!!!!!!

Thanks Matt from Hondata for figuring this out!!!
