upload failed, clear security failed ECU specific

Post by 6spd_ek »

a friend is going thru this

cannot upload .kal (saved in newest version of k-manager)

cannot clear security - get error code

this is ecu specific - he swapped k-pro into other working k-pro'd car & still has same issues with specific ECU

I will ask him to post here - i saw a similar thread (found thru search) but its locked

k-pro ecu was originally in a car that was a accident... new ecu owner is having the issues

Im using a hasport hybrid pnp harness in a k20a 96 civic hatch I bought the kpro ecu its from someone with a ep3 that was turboed and was in a a rear end accident and then sold to me and then we uploaded a base map from kpro the itr with headers and disabeled multiplexor and tried it and it did not work so then I tryed my buddys k pro on my car and fired up like a charm so its with the ecu problem this what happend http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=33497

Your best bet is to send the ecu to either a Hondata dealer for testing, or to Hondata themselves.
