Please help, Boost controller doesn't work right!
seems that my BC is not working as it should. runs 7lbs off the WG and when ever i set the %duty cycle it goes whack. 1% duty cycle gives me 15lbs. if i try to do boost by gear anything over "0" or "1" psi of boost will automaticly try to shoot past my boost cut set at 17. anyone got any ideas? i have an Apexi selenoid valve on the S300, i have it set to Selenoid Normally closed ( which is the way i have it set up). thanks for the help

first you should try just running off of the wategate. just hook up your pressure line to the wastegate, bypassing the solenoid to make sure you don't have a creeping issue. Then, run it fixed duty cycle at 0 % and it should be the same boost. if that works, raise the duty cycle a bit and on pressure vs duty cycle record how much boost is at what duty cycle. keep doing that raising the duty cycle each time and recording the boost. once you have it up to your highest boost level you want to run, then you can use the boost by gear setting.

yea i'm not sure if you understand my problem. even at 0% duty cycle i'm runing like 14psi. my WG is fine. i tried a GM selenoid and at 100% duty cycle which shoulld be off the WG it was still 15. 15psi is like the lowest boost i can run no matter what i do. even in the boost by gear setting. if you set the boost by gear at 0 for a value in all gears then it should run off the WG right?? well mine doesn't at 0 it runs 16psi
yea the more cycle the more it tried to boost. its actually really strange because. when the car turns off its like it resets everything to WG spring. i actually have to turn the duty cycle to atleast 50% for the BC to start working. i'm not tuned for anything over 17 right now and my wideband is broke so i don't want to do anything yet. only at 0 or 1% is where the boost won't hit the boost cut. if i set it to solenoid normally open but still leave the solenoid set up as normally closed, when its cold i have to set it to 100% so it won't hit my boost cut or 90% when its like 90-100 outside.
