Which map sensor is recommended for about 35+ lbs of boost

Post by thudreem »

I have the GM 3 bar currently at 26 lbs of boost but I want to increase the boost. Should I go with a motorola 4 bar, or a AEM 3.5 bar or 5 bar. I want to keep a boost cut that is why I need to change from the GM 3 bar.

What works best for the s300?
Thanks,

Sean

If I do not think I will go over 37lbs should I go with the 5 bar?

Also, how is the resolution on that sensor?

This is where "More is better" works..If you do plan to boost higher, a 5bar is the way to go..

I agree. Not to mention, you can alter all the load points to what you want. So you can have the 5 bar with PSI load points that go only to 35 PSI as opposed to 60 PSI.

That is a very good point!! I went with the AEM 3.5 bar and did exactly what you said..!!
