Boost circuitry - transistor orientation

Post by ben »

Can anybody tell me which way faces the S300 daughterboard for Q20?

This way?

Or this way?

I'm leaning towards the latter because that's the way most of the other transistors on the motherboard sit.

Those instructions are inaccurate. There was no writing "wring" on the transistor.

I think I have it figured out. According to others, it goes in the same direction the surrounding transistors are facing. There are also white lines on the motherboard that dictate the orientation.

I guess we'll see. First test and subsequent dial-in will be this Friday or Saturday.
