Civic EP3 Type R - lower VTEC

Good evening everyone!

im the proud owner of the above mentioned car and frankly im a new-be when it comes to chip tuning, so im kind of lost with all these technical terms here :)

my civic has a VTEC with a sporty value timing that takes over at 6000rpm. My question is this: Is it possible to lower this value to about 5000rpm? if so, what would i need?

You would have to get the K-Prop which makes the ecu fully tunable. More information can be found at http://www.hondata.com/kpro.html
