Safe to use?

Post by sgBatmobile »

Hi,

I recently got my car re-tuned and also have the opportunity to share the tuning map with some of my friends. I have some feedback that the ignition timing is too high and may results in knocking if I am not using octane booster.

My car set up is K20A with Toda A3 CAMs, widen throttle body with intake and exhaust all done up.

I would like to seek the opinions of the experts here by sharing my kal file.

All comments positives or negatives are welcome.

Thanks.

If you get knocking, use the K-Pro to retard the timing where it is getting the knock.

It is normal to have knock?
How accurate is the knock sensor picking up the correct knock, since modified engine will be noiser too.

The knock sensor is pretty accurate. Only a supercharger or forged pistons will give false knock.
