i know i need an 8bar 5 volt pressure transducer, but can the s300's analog input be used with that to log fuel ressure? all i would need is the scaling like the wideband correct? meaning 0v= 0psi and 5v= 100psi so on and so forth. i know there is one or 2 things needed to be done to the board though.
i was having problems with my fuel system and i think i have it nailed down now, but would like to know if my pump is dropping off up top, not that it is now but would like to see if there is any decline in performance.
thankyou.
analog input to datalog fuel pressure?

What the foolish spunkster meant to say was "get a fuel pressure gauge and a video camera to record it." :) But in all reality, yes, you should be able to use the analog input with a 0-5v 150 psig pressure sensor and datalog it, at least thats my plan as well. :)

was talking to evans, he answered that on honda-tech.com and said the 150 psi aem sensor will work.locash wrote:What the foolish spunkster meant to say was "get a fuel pressure gauge and a video camera to record it." :) But in all reality, yes, you should be able to use the analog input with a 0-5v 150 psig pressure sensor and datalog it, at least thats my plan as well. :)
thanks fellas.
no more hillbilly datalogging for me. did that last year had my camera strapped to my roll cage he hee.
boosted hybrid wrote:Run the aem 0-150 psig sensor for the fuel pressure. The voltage vs pressure chart should look like this:
Voltage: Pressure:
0.5 0.0
1.00 18.80
1.50 37.50
2.00 56.30
2.50 75.00
3.00 93.80
3.50 112.5
4.00 131.3
4.50 150.0
Its a linear scale, so it interpolates on the chart to get the reading. I just set up fuel/oil pressure on a customers car with the AEM 0-150psig sensors and it works well.
