PRA and closed loop?

Post by Mr Aryan »

in parameter>setting, it says use secondary O2 input for closed loop operation...
and options>setting>wideband input, says use ELD input...

i'm going to use the LM-1 output.... i know the ELD would only display the A/f ratio...i also need it to be used for closed loop.

should i use the So2 input or ELD now?!

thanks

ok found below on some thread...
i believe the LM-1 is only wideband, if i'm not wrong... and stock So2 sensor is a narrow band with range of 14.5-14.9...
then why do we have to get another narrow band connected to the So2 pin for cloosed loop?

What you could do is use a wideband with both wide and narrowband analog outputs. Connect the narrowband output to the stock o2 sensor input (for closed loop operation) and the wideband output to the ELD connection (for datalog/display). 3. profit.

You cannot run the PRA in closed loop using an aftermarket wideband.

i'll be using the stock O2 sensor for closed loop... is that possible?
the aftermarket would be for displaying and dataloging.

Can anybody confirm this:

In the innovate LC-1 manual is stated that it can operate as narowband lambda (simulated from WB) on output1 while output2 gives the WB lambda readings.

So I'm thinking ... this way you could use LC-1 as primary lambda for PRA ecu with wideband dataloging (ELD pin) and secondary lambda operating normaly (no need it to be disabled).

Am I missing something or this could be done as a "working scenario"?

cheers
