wideband datalog issues...

Post by hatchy94 »

i have a plx m series in my hatch. my car was stolen recently and i had to get a new ecu and a new s300. everything works good except that i have eld pin setup as my wideband source, and it is not responding. i change the voltage offset to match wideband display, i get that to match up but then when i give it gas and the plx display changes but smanager display does not.

whats wrong?

Have you disconnected the wire from the ELD, or is it still connected to that as well?

wire from ecu to eld is cut. new wire with pin is run to d10 from plx. this worked on my old ecu with s300. but that was stolen. new one is also a p28, but when datalogging it ( a/f value ) does not change at all.

It is either wired incorrectly, you have the wrong input selected in the software, or you have the calibration numbers incorrect

i have power and chassis ground. grey wire is running to pin d14( o2 heater disabled in smanager), white wire is run to pin d10. capacitors are bridged betwwen grey and ground and white and ground. input selected is d10 - eld. calibration numbers automatically pop up when you selct plx m series, and they match what is shown on your website for plx install instructions..

Many people have sworn it was wired correctly and told us it was connected to the pins we say, but after they checked it the 50th time they find that they didn't cut a wire, or that they actually connected it to the wrong ecu pin.

Our instructions do not say to install any capacitors.

the capacitors are for noise filtering. per plx. and this was already working correctly on my old s300. the wiring hasnt changed. only new ecu and new s300. smanager setup is also the same. i know youre going down your list for troubleshooting and i appreciate your help. i dont want to come off sounding like a prick but ive covered the basics for simple troubleshooting. i ve checked and rechecked all the wiring. checked and rechecked the setup.

side note.. s300 was socketed into p28 by locash. ecu came from them as well.

What if you jumper the TPS signal to the ELD input and try dataloging that ....does that read?
