just swapped chips.. solid check engine light...

i just swapped chips out, i get a solid CEL and my hondata box is blinking. and also i have a "rev limiter" at around 4100. this has to do with the hondata or somthing, but i cant figure out why.

i unplugged battery, took out ECU and swapped chips and put ECU on and plugged battery. car turns on and everything.

anyone know the prob.

By "swapped chips" I assume you mean you replaced the original Hondata ROM with another version of the Hondata ROM.

Chances are the second chip is faulty, provided that you didn't put it in backwards. You might also check that the new ROM is the right version, you didn't say whether you were running a stage 2/3/4 or a s100/s200.
