O2, please help

If the ECU is throwing any O2 codes, (it's throwing low voltage code) will it cause vtec not to engage? I have a K20 type-r, PRB ECU. I'm stumped.
1998 Integra K20 JDM front
2000 Prelude, type-SH (for sale)

o2 errors will not effect vtec operation
