trouble after engine swap

Post by drrl151 »

I switch froim a B18b to a B20b and now it runs like its only one one cylinder. All of the spark plug wires have spark....but when i pull #1 the car shuts off. Is the LS ECU compatible with a B20b ????

Make sure your plugs are hooked up in the correct firing order. Also check your mechanical timing. I'm currently running loops on my car, as I just swapped my B18A into my daily driver hatch, and am having cranking problems.

it's possible for your rotor to be on 180 degrees out.

For an engine to run you need air, fuel, compression, and spark...check all 4 of these things along with mechanical and electrical timing and you will fiind your problem. My car is running strong now...it just needed to cough up a big cloud of smoke.
