Power wire for PLX M series

Post by DCxMagus420 »

I'm going to be installing my PLX M300 in my prelude running a P28 ECU with Hondata s300

I plan on taping the OBD2-OBD1 wiring harness I have connected to the ECU.

I've looked over a few ECU pin outs and I can't find which pin to tap into for the power. None are listed as a 12v ignition power source.

I'm not extremely wire savy so I may be missing something obivious so sorry if this is a dumb question, I've just had loads of problems with my old AEM WB and having the voltages reading in the hondata ECU so I want to make sure I install this correctly to minimize error while tuning the car because of that.

I'm going to be using the ELD for the 0-5v(white) wire D10
and using A23 for the ground.

Thanks for your time.

YOu should not get power or ground from the ecu harness. YOu should use a solid chassis ground and get switched power from the extra pins on the fuse box.
