k24a2 swap into base RSX

I plan on doing this swap next month. From what i've gathered so far the ECU is not supported. Does this mean i can just send in my base ECU, get it K-Pro'd and be able to upload a map for the k24a2 motor? I searched around and just want to get a grasp onto what i'm actually getting myself into. If there is no base map for a k24a2 stock, do people actually have them considering i know people on here have done the swap? Thanks for your time.
