My K-Pro Wont Work after getting tunned

Post by himsweet66six »

ok here is the story. i took my car to get tunned at a local shop (topsetup). he tunned the car and everything was fine...at first.

on the way home i noticed that my engine temp guage wasnt working. i figured no big deal i could fix it with kpro. later that night i went to use the a/c, light came on and everything but no cold air ( plus i could tell it wasnt turning on becasue i couldnt hear it). so i was like what the fuck maybe something happened

i searched for the answers on here and nothin really came up. i was told to check the multyplexer and see if that was on. so i went to download the new tunned map i got. downloaded the map fine and everything, i switched on the multiplexer and set the launch control.

i started the car and it turned on but sounded funny. gave it some gas and it went to like 2K and then dropped down and died. tried a few more times, samething. i then uplaoded the 05 rsx base map. same thing happen. it would just die.

i didnt knwo what too do. it wasnt throwing any codes. it just wouldnt stay running and i couldnt give it gas without killing it. it also sounded really funny.

i put the stock ecu back in. started the car and everything worked perfectly. car turned on, i was able to drive it around the black. my engine temp guage worked, my a/c was working was well.

what the hell could it be??? is my ecu fried??? any one else have this problem with kpro??? when the tune was being done is there a way that he could have short circuited my ecu?

i just went out and tried my friends kpro ecu and it works and runs normal. so my stock ecu and my friend kpro work and mine wont work all of a suddun.

thanks in advance for any help

Try clearing security first (online, tools, clear security), then uploading a new calibration from File, New.
