IACV help needed

Hi guys, im having major problems finding an IACV that works, i have 4 here and none of them work at all, or i have a wiring problem. B16a2 w/s300 btw
Can someone confirm for me what i should expect to see at the plug when disconnected, ignition on:

between pins - 0v
Positive pin - ground 12v

Now this tells me that there is a wiring problem? shouldnt i see voltage between pins with ignition on? im guessing the ecu switches ground to operate the IACV, but it should be voltage surely?

Any help appreciated

It is duty cycle controlled. Are you getting IACV errors? You may need to follow the helms manual for trouble shooting this problem.

Idiot mistake, 2 plugs the wrong way around. Thanks, thought it would be duty cycle controlled.
