Aquamist HFS 5
Anyone have one installed? Would it be better to tune this unit with it's own tuning capabilities (triggered by fuel injector duty cycle) or tune using S300?

Information from the Help file in Smanager (Help, Contents) I can only paste the test and not the graphics:
These parameters allow the ECU to control the use of nitrous oxide, water/alcohol injection or to function as a general purpose auxiliary output.
Function
Selects the main function of the nitrous/aux output.
Input
Arming Input - specifies which ECU pin is used to arm the nitrous/aux output.
Invert input - reverses the state of the arming input.
Disable if check engine code - disables the output when there is a check engine code.
Disable on full throttle shift & launch control - disables the output when the full throttle shift rev limiter or launch control rev limiter is in operation.
Output
Output - specifies which ECU pin is used for the output.
Invert output - reverses the states of the output.
Conditions
All the conditions must be met in order for the output to be activated.
Engine speed - specifies the minimum and maximum rpm.
Engine load - specifies the minimum and maximum engine load.
Throttle - specifies the minimum throttle opening.
Vehicle speed - specifies the minimum vehicle speed.
Air temperature - specifies the minimum intake air temperature.
Note that not all these conditions will be available, depending on the function selected.
Fuel & Ignition
The above example will remove fuel and retard the ignition timing by 4 degrees when activated.
Output Control - specifies which ECU pin controls the nitrous solenoid. Important: the ECU cannot sink enough current directly to control a solenoid. A relay must be used between the ECU and solenoid to prevent damage to the ECU.
Conditions - specifies the conditions which must be met before the output is switched on.
Fuel & Ignition - specifies changes to fuel and ignition when nitrous is activated.
The maximum retard is 40 degrees, and the ignition timing can be retard to a maximum of 10 degrees BTDC.
Do not make nitrous changes without using a wideband lambda meter to determine the correct air/fuel ratio. As a general guide, the following extra fuel is necessary:
Nitrous Jet
Fuel Value
0.24
200
0.32
350
0.47
850
With nitrous control it is possible to remove fuel and/or advance ignition timing by using negative values. This is useful when using water/alcohol injection.

I was thinking that you could tune the car with water/meth injection, allowing more timing and less fuel, and then if you lost the water/meth entirely (clogged nozzle, empty tank) the switched output from the HFS5 could be used to switch to the secondary set of maps that would be tuned based on no water/meth injection. Can the S300 accomplish this another way w/o loading another set of calibrations from a laptop?
