Problem with Datalogging

Post by Joelspy70 »

I was trying to do a datalog yesterday but half way through the datalog it kept loosing the usb connection and would stop. I tired a different laptop, and a different usb cable with the same problem. It has worked fine before. I am woundering if this is an issue with the port on the ecu? Can hondata fix this if it is?

What spark plugs are you using? What vehicle is this in? What version of software are you using from Help, About?

Have you properly relocated the ground? Are all the grounds still in the proper location and corrosion free?

Also check the wiring where is passes behind the turbo. The heat from the turbo hardens the copper in the wiring and it eventually fractures.

My engine ground is still on the intake manifold. I will try moving it to the valve cover.
