Weird sudden revcut @ 4k rpm when driving

was driving as per normal and after a while, i suddenly couldnt rev past 4,000 rpm, a rev cut was applied for the rest of the journey.

really weird problem with my kpro.

any ideas what happened ?

hooked up and checked for error codes but none.

krpo was purchased about 1 mth ago.

happened twice since then, especially during hard acceleration.

I'm a RSX-S on Sk2 Stg2 cams.

Well, my rev limit is set to 4,000rpm but i see no reason why it should be applied when i was merely cruising along the highway

When you checked for error codes, was it revlimiting at 4000 rpm?

yup....i chked immediately as my notebook is always in the car.

no error codes......weird
