Grounding Questions

Post by coredump »

Hi. I'm getting a Sun Auto Ignition Blade in a sponsorship package.

http://www.sunautomobile.com/products_c ... gblade.htm

My question is will it have any detrimental effects on grounding and K-Pro? Would it create any electrical inteference with the spark plug because the product claims it works with the ignition coils?

Thanks. I'm not so much interested whether it works or not, or whether it is a waste of money because I'm merely supporting a vendor. :) Basically, I just want to know if I would fry my ECU or not. :)

Eric,

I would recommend you don't put this on your car for gains as that is the main reason for k-pro. Since you recently got your car tuned, adding this part to your engine would only cause noise data transfers from sensors to the k-pro daughterboard.

Thanks, Mikey.

I think what I'm going to do is rock but not have it "connected". That way, company is happy I'm representing their products, I'm happy that I'm not blowing up my ECU.
