Got a brand new harness, same thing. Hondata, when you mean vehical harness do you mean stock EG harness? I know the the passenger harness that runs from underneath the dash and goes out to the engine compartment is still there. With the hybrid harness I have to solder A7 and A8 with a wire that runs from their plug as well as A13 and D10. Not sure if this has anything to do with it. Not sure how I could connect the engine harness wrong. My reverse lights also do not work. My vss works fine in my RSX. Also the green and white wire on the vss plug shows 0 volts. What could cause this? I ran a bypass wire. Would that help with the signal? OR sould I cut it and run a wire?

The problem is whith the wiring in your car...this could be the stock wiring, or the hybrid harness. This is not a Hondata problem. I would suggest taking the car to a shop familiar with doing engine swaps at this point.

I have a new Hybrid Harness. Updated version. I know its not a Hondata problem because the ECU reads the vss just fine in my RSX. When you stock wiring harness, do you mean the EG harness or RSX engine harness? How would the stock EG harness affect the this?

I'm no expert by any means but was wondering which transmission you had. You said you had the K20A2 engine... I know the 05-06 (K20Z1) tranny puts out a different VSS signal.
