Mugen Thermostat and Fan Switch problem with KPRO

Hi guys,

i am new here....i own a Euro Civic Type R EP3....mods are listed below :

Engine
- AEM CAI with Hydroshield
- Energy Suspension Engine Mount Inserts
- Hondata Inlet Head Gasket
- JDM Integra Type R DC5 4-2-1 Exhaust Manifold
- Js Racing Engine Torque Damper
- Magnex 6" x 4" Back Box Exhaust
- NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
- Spoon Sports B-pipe
- Spoon Sports Radiator Cap
- Spoon Sports Resevoir Tank Covers
- Hondata Throttle Body Bypass Mod

currently saving up for a KPRO :D...however i am planning on installing the Mugen Thermostat and Fan switch....i read somewhere its not a good idea with a KPRO...is this true?...are they even worth the trouble??

appreciate any advise :wink:

not worth the trouble. it may affect closed loop operation.

I haven't had any issues running both for almost 2 years now with K-Pro. I would say that the fan switch is not really necessary though as you can control when the fan turns on within K-Pro. I already had the fan switch installed prior to the K-Pro.
