ive tried everything..
replaced IACV.
cleaned IACVs multiple times
checked wiring to IACV checks out fine.
no codes in hondata.
map sensor is brand new.
No vacuum leaks anywhere.
no throttle cable problems..
changed to RBC manifold and still the same thing
changed to a brand new thermal IM gasket.. same thing.
now..
i am running no primary o2 sensor because i could never get it to read in kpro.. so i disabled it.. could that be the problem?
here is my main problems.
my car once started. will idle at about 2000 for about a minute.. then it will start surging bad.. from like 1200 to 3000rpm.
i plug the iacv port in the TB with my finger and it idles fine..
i unplug the IACV completely and it sounds like the car has monster cams.. fluxuating from 1800 to 2000 real fast.. brum brum brum brum ... haha..
i originally had no coolant hoses going to the IACV.. but i thought that might have something to do with it so i installed some today.. let the car idle for like 15 min with the rad cap off... same thing..
not only is this affecting the idel.. but drivability at like 1800 RPMs is terrible. it bucks and has no partial throttle at all.
ive tried tons of different maps.. all doing the same thing.
ive been riding like this for about a year now.. and im finally getting sick of this problem.
anyone else had similar issue? shed some light.
maybe someone here can help me..

I could be wrong but if you plug the hole and the engine doesn't stall, then you have a vacuum leak.JDM EJ1 95 wrote: i plug the iacv port in the TB with my finger and it idles fine..

to have a good IACV operation the IACV need coolant
ok well make sure u check the pcv hose, its the hose that is on the opposite side of the throttle body on the intake manifold! (left side of IM when standing infront of car looking at motor) samething happened to me, my car was idling like crazy and it all of a sudden died then i looked and saw that i forgot to connect the hose from the motor back into the intake manifold!
