no error code for dead injector

first i had the cel come on for a #2 cylinder misfire, so i changed out all the spark plugs and got nothing. So we switched around the coil packs and still nothing... Also I did a volt check on ECU pins for the coil packs and everything was still intact... Finally we checked the injectors and sure enough there is no current through the number two injector. The #2 Injector turned out to be an SL9-550cc Instead of an SL4-550xcc.

My question to you guys is: Why didn't the 'K-Pro' Program Give me a code for the dead Injector? Or dead injector circuit? Or.. Is there not a code to notify me for that?

You got the code for mis-fire. That's all that the ECU can put out.

It is not something which has been changed from stock. You'd have to ask Honda.

yea but once i changed out the plugs and switched the coil packs i got no error codes but still a flashing cel didnt even say it was misfiring but it was pretty easy to see it was since it sounded like a subaru
