Fan Control with Nitrous Aux

Post by aahill69 »

Is it possible to control your fan using the nitrous aux generic output? I tried playing with it in the "Conditions Tab" but I couldn't make it work only if I inverted the output. My temperature switch comes ON to high at 215F and shuts off at 205 F keeping my engine temp too hot for tuning.

Yes, you should be able to use the generic output with nitrous/aux controls to turn on the fan.

What I want to do is to turn them on at 200F and automatically shut off at 185F. In other words substitute the thermo sw with the ECU command.

What is the procedure to do that?

You can do everything needed except have it come on at 200 and go off at 185. For that operation you will need to just use the correct thermo/fan switch. You only want the fans to run when the car is not moving and below a certain speed
