2000 RPM rev limit?

I'm having trouble getting my new engine running. It idles fine but a datalog shows the rev limiter kicking in at 2000 RPM.

the engine is a high compression D16
P28 / S300 - using adjusted ITB.skl
Suzuki 900 ITBs / TPS (1v closed - 6v open) - used Scale TPS to calibrate

one other weird thing
I tried using pin D10(ELD) on the P28 for my wideband input. However, oddly this pin already has 3.5v on it according to my volt meter.

The TPS voltage output is not increasing quickly enough - at 2000 rpm you should see at least 3% throttle opening.

You need to connect the MAP sensor.

The ELD is pulled high by the ECU under no load to 3.8V - this is normal.

Is the 2000 RPM rev limit part of a safety algorithm built into the P28? Is this what they call limp mode?

ahh, it's so obvious now.

My boost cut was set to 160kpa and my map sensor shows a steady 178. So the ecu thought I was seeing boost and going into limp mode. So I've just set the boost cut to 255.
