99 JDM B16A from an SirII in a 2000 Si. (car was stolen and I'm rebuilding) With a Greddy Kit running stock boost.
Car fires up and idles great. I have some questions though.
s200 w/ boost option using the P28 Hondata prepared ECU
1. The Check Engine Light is always on...guess I need to find out how to get CEL codes?
2. The car runs great, but it wont rev over 6000 rpm, it act's like how the stock engine did when it hit the rev limiter at 8200 rpm. I'm guessing either:
a. VTEC isn't engaging so the engine won't rev over 6000 rpm?
b. The preset rev limit on the Hondata is set to 6000 rpm?
Any ideas??????
If b is the case, does the push button work to set the overall rev limit? I know ppl are having issues setting the s200 w/ the push button, and I dont want to have to spend $200 to do it.
