I just tried up dating my KManager using the update feature that's built in. While installing it My McAfee said that it was infected with the WIN32 virus and that windows couldn't find a file or one was corrupted. Now my Kmanager doesn't work. What's going on?
Well I disabled McAfee while installing it and it seemed to work fine. I now have the new version up and running. I hope it wasn't really a virus though. Still, Any suggestions on what could be the problem?
Recently we have noticed that anti-virus programs are causing problems.
The applications have digital signatures. If they were infected with a virus, the digital signature would be invalid. You can check the digital signature under properties if you are conerned.
ok well it seems to work fine when I disable McAfee, but is there going to be another release that will allow me to run Kmanager without the hassle of disabling my virus software and firewall software.
Im using McAfee Build 7.1.113 and can't find these exclusion options you are talking about! Any suggestions? There are only options to allow programs through the firewall not the virus scan.
I did that and it works. I get random popup messages all the time though warning me of the virus. It's very annoying. Is there going to be a fix in the future? None of the previous versions did it!

Still no luck with getting around this. It's getting really old closing out my virus software every time I want to run Kmanager. There has to be some sort of way for this to be fixed!
