solid cel and s200 blinking???

i pluged in my p28 with my s200 and the s200 was blinking slowly so i figured it needed a new chip so i put a different chip in the ecu and turned the ignition to on and then got a solid cel plus the s200 was still blinking. so i tryed to check the cel by jumping the service connector and nothing (will not blink) i unpluged the ecu to clear the cel and nothing everytime i plug in the p28 i get a solid cell i cannot reset it i tryed to switch the chips back and forth and it still wont clear it. any suggestions on how to do this or why? thanx

You have the solid CEL becaue the interface box is flashing. You either have an incorrect program on the chip, have a bad chip, or there is a problem with the ecu socketing.
