Have a few questions for ya....
Ok a few months ago I sent a spare p28 to ya'll(hondata) to have it inspected and socketed for the s300, figured I would also have it set up for the boost control.
I just received the actual s300 unit this weekend, and have a few concerns that I wanted to ask about.
1. the board does not seat all the way down due to it making contact with the air pressure sensor. This is causing the plastic pegs, or spacers to stick up past the top of the ecu and making the lid not sit properly. I can screw it down however it dimples the cover. Is this acceptable? I am concerned that over time this will cause undue stress on the internal components.?
2. when I look at the pictures on the website the units look different, as in the instructions say that you have to cut center divider on the casing and it has an additional board attached with however this doesnt appear to be required with just the unit I have. Does this only need to be done for the knock board?
3. I notice that there is 2 additional pin sockets on top of the s300 board, what are these for??
Thats about it for now, any advice or instruction would be greatly appreciated as of right now the car is completed for the moment and am only waiting for this component to complete the project...
